After Hours Blues is a monthly Blues Dance on the second saturday of the month at Wightman Community Center after Swing City. It runs from midnight 'til two and features a wide range of recorded blues for your dancing pleaure. There is a suggested donation of three bucks, and we provide the partners & the snacks.
I've had a lot of requests for the playlists from After Hours. I was putting them on iTunes, but, more and more, the tunes I'm playing are not available there. Many can be found there, but not all. I use two other download services extensively: eMusic and Audio Lunchbox. Both have extensive selections of blues and independent labels (and classical music too!). If you decide to sign up with either service, please give me credit: edmalloy@mac.com. Starting with February 2008, I will list my playlist here (or at least as much of it as I can remember!).
